On May 23, 2024, the “Beautiful Electromechanical and Cable Pipeline Laying and Plugging New Technologies and Applications” seminar for the power industry was grandly held in Hanzhong City, hosted by the China Hydropower Engineering Society, undertaken by the Relay Protection and Excitation Professional Committee of the China Hydropower Engineering Society, and the Power System Automation Professional Committee of the China Hydropower Engineering Society, and co-organized by Huaneng Lancangjiang Hydropower Co., Ltd. and Shenzhen Test Technology Co., Ltd.

This event focused on sharing and discussing cable and pipeline laying, new plugging technologies and applications, and highly focused on the current status, excellent cases and new technologies of cable and pipeline laying in the power industry. It is a rare event to explore the high-quality development of beautiful electromechanical construction in the power industry. The conference attracted more than 100 expert representatives and big guests from power grid companies, power generation groups (various hydropower plants and pumped storage power stations, etc.), equipment and material manufacturers, design institutes, construction teams, etc. from all over the country, and the number of online participants exceeded 9,000!

Guest Profile: Peng Yumin, graduated from Wuhan University of Hydraulic and Electric Engineering with a bachelor’s degree in industrial automation and a master’s degree. After graduation, he worked in the production and construction front line of Guangzhou, Qingyuan, Hainan Qiongzhong Pumped Storage and Hainan Wenchang Gas Power Plant for more than 20 years.
