These “inconspicuous holes” are actually the last physical barrier to the 170,000 cubic meters of flammable liquid natural gas on LNG ships—a failure in one can jeopardize the entire system.

1. Dual Watertight and Airtight Protection: The EPDM sealing module and 316L stainless steel frame achieve IP68 waterproofness and 0.5 MPa airtightness, completely blocking the intrusion of seawater, salt spray, and oil and gas.
2. Dual Fire and Explosion Protection: Equipped with A-0 to A-60 fire-resistant modules (compliant with FTP regulations), they block the spread of flames and high-temperature smoke. The modules also meet explosion-proof certification (Ex d IIC Gb/Gc), making them suitable for high-risk areas such as engine rooms and cargo holds.
3. Vibration-Resistant and Stable Seal: The modules withstand 20g continuous vibration, and the frame is welded to the bulkhead to prevent shifting or loosening of cables.
4. Weather-Resistant and Long-Lasting: The 316L stainless steel withstands 1000 hours of salt spray without rusting, while the EPDM is temperature-resistant from -50°C to 120°C and resistant to aging. With a design life of 30 years, this significantly reduces vessel operation and maintenance costs. 03
